Have you heard about the Year Without Toilet Paper (New York Times article)? The Beavin-Collins are commited to one year of No Impact living. Wow! I'm impressed and a little scared. It's so great to see people going All the Way! 

So, it's possible. But, it's also nice to realize that you don't have to go to extremes to help the planet (just to get a book deal.) Remember that big pile of diapers I wrote about in the last entry? All those doody dumps that our public dumps have to deal with?
